A team will be disqualified if it is found that they are a non-Brahmin player.
The registration / entry fee will not be refunded in such cases.
All teams must check-in at the following venue by 7:30 AM IST.

Format: League + Knockout.
Venue: Turf pitch inside a fully netted enclosure. There are no boundary ropes.
Ball: Tecnifibre Training Tennis ball only.
Bats: Teams may use wood or plastic bats
Team size: 7 players + 1 Impact Player (8 named; only 7 on field/batting at any time).
Impact player rules:
Each team must name 7 playing members + 1 Impact Player before the start of the match.
Only 7 players shall be on the field at any given time.
The Impact Player can be used only once per match.
The Impact Player may substitute any one player from the playing 7 at any point during the match (before or during the innings).
Once the substitution is made, it is permanent and cannot be reversed.
The substituted player takes no further part in the match in any capacity (batting, bowling, keeping, or fielding).
After substitution, the Impact Player becomes a regular playing member and may bat, bowl, keep wickets, and field like any other player.
The captain must inform the umpire before the substitution is made.
If a team uses the Impact Player more than once in a match, or reverses a substitution, or fields more than 7 players at any time, or uses an ineligible or already-played player, the team may be disqualified, at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.
One-team representation rules:
A player shall register for and represent only ONE team in the tournament.
Once a player has taken the field, batted, bowled, or kept wickets for a team in any match, he is deemed to have represented that team.
Such a player cannot play for any other team in the tournament under any circumstances.
Breach of this rule (fielding, batting, bowling, or acting as Impact Player for another team) will result in immediate disqualification of the team in which the breach occurred.
Players must wear appropriate footwear. Umpires/organisers may refuse unsafe equipment.
Barefoot play is allowed.
Make 3 pools (A, B, C) of 4 teams each.
Each pool plays a single round-robin (each team plays every other team in its pool).
Qualification to semis:
Pool toppers (A1, B1, C1) automatically qualify.
Second-placed teams (A2, B2, C2) enter a mini-league among themselves: each plays the other two in 2-over matches (New Pool League). The topper of the mini-league (highest points — ties broken by NRR) becomes the 4th semi-finalist.
Semi-final arrangement:
Rank the three pool toppers by points then NRR.
Semi 1: Top-ranked pool topper vs Winner of New Pool League (the 4th qualifier).
Semi 2: Remaining two pool toppers (ranked #2 vs #3).
League matches: 3 overs per side.
Knockouts (semis & final): 4 or 5 overs per side (organisers to decide on the match day).
Every team must include at least 4 players designated able to bowl (i.e., every team should have 4 bowlers available across the match/tournament).
3-over OR 4-over match:
One bowler can bowl a maximum of 1 over.
Teams must use at least 3 different bowlers (for 3 overs).
5-over match (if used):
One bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs.
Teams must use at least 4 different bowlers.
Fielding layout:
1 Bowler
1 Wicket-keeper
2 fielders in the outer box
3 fielders in the inner box
Maximum 2 fielders on leg side or off side inside the inner box at any time.
Inner box line is controlled by the umpire: If a fielder is touching the inner box line (or beyond it, as judged by the umpire) at the moment of the ball being delivered, the umpire may call No-Ball (positioning infringement). Umpire’s decision is final.
No-ball / wide / bye / short-pitched ball / run-out follow standard cricket interpretations.
Throwing / chucking is not allowed.
Umpire will call a no-ball the first time a bowler is judged to bowl with an illegal action.
If the bowler fails a remedial action or repeats an illegal action, the bowler will be prohibited from bowling for the remainder of that match.
Team may replace the bowler with another legal bowler.
Because there are no boundaries, net/roof rules and bonus lines govern automatic scoring.
Side net: the net panels to the sides of the playing corridor.
Net behind the keeper: the net directly behind the keeper.
Last net behind the bowler: the net behind the bowler’s end (the far net behind the bowler).
Roof: top net/roof of the enclosure.
Bonus line: an imaginary horizontal line on the side net and behind the keeper set at around 10 ft above ground (organisers to decide).
Hitting side net / net behind keeper:
On or Above bonus line: Batter awarded 2 bonus runs automatically. If the batters run N runs between wickets, total runs = 2 (bonus) + N (running). E.g., batter strikes ball into the side net or net behind keeper above the bonus line. Batters run 2 between wickets before the ball is returned. Score = 2 bonus + 2 runs = 4 runs.
Below bonus line: No automatic bonus — batters must run to score any runs.
Hitting the roof: No bonus runs. Batter must run to score.
Hitting the last net behind the bowler:
Without bounce (on the full): If the batter hits the ball and it reaches the last net behind the bowler on the full, 6 runs are awarded. Example: Batter strikes the ball and it goes directly to the last net behind the bowler without touching the ground — 6 runs.
With bounce: If the ball bounces at least once on the playing surface and then hits the last net/board behind the bowler, 4 runs are awarded.
Via roof or side net (still on the full): If the ball touches the top roof or side net on the full and then goes on to hit the last net behind the bowler without bouncing on the playing surface, it will still be treated as a direct hit and 6 runs will be awarded.
Key clarification: Any contact with the pitch (ground bounce) before hitting the last net/board automatically reduces the score to 4 runs, regardless of whether the ball touched the roof or side net earlier. Umpire’s decision on whether the ball bounced is final.
Sponsors board hit: 9 runs (automatic). Overthrows thereafter add as per overthrow rule.
Overthrows: Batters may run and score on overthrows as per standard rules. If an overthrow hits the last net (with or without bounce) add 4 runs. E.g., batter strikes ball into the side net or net behind keeper above the bonus line. Batters run 2 between wickets, but overthrow occurs and the ball hits the last wall. . Score = 2 bonus + 2 runs + 4 overthrow-wall = 8 runs.
"Double Dhamaka" Over — "Think out of the box!":
The final over of each innings (league & knockout) is designated the "Double Dhamaka" Over.
In this over: every 4 or 6 struck by the batter will be doubled (4 → 8, 6 → 12). Runs scored by any other means (including overthrows) will not be doubled.
No automatic boundaries otherwise; all other running rules follow standard cricket scoring (1s, 2s, etc.).
Umpires decide the contact point of the ball with the net. Their decision is final.
All standard dismissals apply (bowled, caught, run-out, stumped, hit wicket, etc.) as interpreted by the umpires.
No LBW.
Wicket limit: if a team loses 6 wickets the batting side is considered ALL-OUT (innings ends).
BOXHIT special dismissal rules:
Top roof & one-hand catch: If the ball hits the top roof and is then caught by a fielder with one hand, the batter is out. If the catch is completed with two hands, not out. (Umpire judgment.)
Side net catches: If the ball hits the side net and is then caught by any means, batter is not out (side net contact nullifies catch).
Any contact with net/roof that is ambiguous will be adjudicated by the umpires.
Run-outs and overthrows: Standard run-out and overthrow rules apply.
No-ball/wide: all standard penalty apply.
Umpire authority: Umpires’ calls on all net/line/bonus issues are final on the ground.
If match is tied at the end of allotted overs → Super Over:
One over per side (each side nominates 3 batsmen; innings ends on 2 wickets falling).
If the Super Over is also tied, play additional Super Overs until a winner is found.
Respect your opponents and the tournament officials.
Arrive at the venue on time and be ready to start your match as scheduled.
If a team is not present at the time of their scheduled match, a 5-minute grace period will be given.
If the team fails to arrive within the grace period, the opponent will be awarded a bye and progress to the next round.
No rescheduling of matches will be permitted for absent teams.
Familiarize yourself with the rules and abide by them.
All match officials’ and organizers' decisions are final.
Officials will report any misconduct to the organizers, who reserve the power to disqualify teams for violations.
Food and refreshments will be provided to all participants and officials.
The tournament organizers reserve the right to modify the scoring system or rules at any time.
